Lets keep it .........

Obvious - if ya know me at all, you know i am a lifelong bravos fan. I was Tomohawk chopping straight out of the womb. So when i say, lets keep it obvious...ya know I am talking about our stat declining and weight increasing center fielder Andruw Jones signing with the Dodgers. I mean, who in their right mind thought this guy would be back next year? Granted, he had a couple of good years with the bravos (if you consider a rookie year which was horrible other than a great world series homer, and a few years of 35 homers with abismal OBP and strikeout ratings good). I, for one, couldnt be happier. He was dead weight who had hit his prime.
*On a side note....how stupid can the dodgers be? Remember, they also signed Furcal.

Simple - Ba Humbug. Thats me, take it or leave it. I just dont get to hyped about the Holidays. I like Christmas...but not so much the Holidays. Case in point.....shopping. I was off work today...and how did I spend this glorious day of rest and relaxation? At Target. Nope even better than that...at Target and Georgia Square Mall. Nope, even better than that, at Target and Georgia Square with 3 kids who are just getting over the poop all over yourself and laugh at dad turning green virus. Now before you get up and arms about me taking the kiddos to the Mall with the P.A.O.Y.A.L.A.D.T.G. virus and infecting a large segment of Gawgas population...they arent pooping anymore, well they are, but not that kind. They are just a little puny, which leads to whiny. Wasnt to bad, I guess, I did play put put at the mall with the kidos while Annette looked around. And I did come out with a purchase....lights, yes Christmas lights. I have the distinct pleasure of hanging from a ladder tomorrow and getting me house all tackied out. Oh, and I am already sick of Christmas music....except the Chipmunk thing. I like that. Merry Christmas.
On the other hand, Nette loves the Holidays. She likes the lights and crowds, and shopping trips, and even the music. We are so flippin different....its beautiful.

Together - Yeah, thats on my mind. I have been really focusing latley on the TEAM concept of ministry. I am a professed loner when it comes to ministry, which is dangerous and non productive at times. I dont know, I just like to do things my owm way sometimes and trust only myself in getting those things done. I am really working on that now. This is the first time I've ever been on a church staff, its always been me, my laptop, the copy machine, an occasional intern and later on...a secretary. - Now, I am on a staff. Or better said, a TEAM. 5 man rotation. I'm learning it quickly, and seeing how that flows and now I intend on inserting that concept into our Student Ministry. I think its time. I have been around for a few months now, and have an idea about the protocol, and I have, what I believe to be the finest Student Ministry Team in the world willing and ready....so here we go. Sunday, we'll have a TEAM meeting and begin discussion on the methodology. I'm pretty flippin stoked to be honest.

Anyway, till later - Kyle
